From personal struggle to community purpose
Fisher's Of Men T&D LLC was born from a deeply personal journey through struggle, justice involvement, addiction, incarceration, recovery, and transformation. Our founder understands what it feels like to face serious consequences and to question whether true change is possible. This lived experience has become the driving force behind our commitment to helping others. We believe that past experiences do not define who a person is today; instead, they can be a source of purpose and empathy. Through personal transformation, we learned the importance of accountability, making better decisions, accepting responsibility, and taking the next right step, even in the face of adversity. This realization highlighted how many individuals become trapped in cycles of homelessness, addiction, incarceration, poverty, trauma, and hopelessness due to a lack of support, resources, or guidance. This understanding became the foundation of our mission: to use what we have learned to help others who are struggling and may feel lost.

Our methodology is hands-on and relationship-based. We go beyond merely providing a list of phone numbers or directions; we actively identify needs, connect individuals with appropriate resources, advocate on their behalf, encourage positive decision-making, and walk alongside them on their journey toward stability. Our own experiences with hardship, justice involvement, recovery, and personal transformation provide us with a deep understanding of the challenges our clients face, allowing us to offer truly empathetic and effective support.
Who we serve and the impact we create
The individuals and families who benefit most from Fisher's Of Men T&D LLC are those confronting significant barriers and who may not know where to turn for help. This includes homeless and at-risk veterans, non-veterans experiencing homelessness or housing instability, people returning from incarceration, justice-involved individuals, those struggling with substance use or mental health challenges, survivors of domestic violence, individuals coping with grief and loss, and families facing financial, employment, transportation, or other life challenges. We also extend our support to those who may have been overlooked or discouraged by traditional systems, simply needing someone willing to listen, advocate, encourage, and help them identify their next right step.
The positive changes we strive to create encompass helping people obtain or work toward stable housing, connect with meaningful employment and essential community resources, access vital mental health and recovery services, and ultimately, reconnect with their families and communities.

Our long-term vision for Fisher's Of Men T&D LLC is to become a trusted and recognized source of hope, support, and positive change throughout Richmond and its surrounding communities. We aim to build an organization that empowers individuals not only to survive difficult circumstances but also to develop the stability, confidence, skills, relationships, and resources necessary to create better lives. We aspire to expand our outreach to serve more veterans, individuals experiencing homelessness, people returning from incarceration, justice-involved individuals, survivors of domestic violence, those struggling with substance use or mental health challenges, families experiencing hardship, and others who need support. We want Fisher's Of Men T&D LLC to contribute to building stronger communities by connecting people to housing, employment, recovery, mental health services, education, transportation, healthcare, and other essential resources, while also providing mentorship, encouragement, advocacy, accountability, and practical support to foster lasting change.
